What’s new?
I’ve just published a book about C.S. Lewis’s brother, Warren Lewis, published by Rabbit Room Press. It highlights his friendship with a medical missionary named Blanche Biggs.
There will be an audiobook, print book and eBook, and a stage play.
It’s called The Major and the Missionary.
the Writer’s Foundation series
I’ve just signed a book contract for a series of books about the writing process. As a writer and a writing teacher (my Ph.D. is in Composition Studies), I am finally writing about writing. A tall order? Yes. I’m gonna try anyway. Say a prayer for me.
I’ll be collaborating with a talented writer and editor named Abigail Dengler. The series includes A Writer’s Process, A Writer’s Priorities, A Writer’s Remedy, and A Writer’s Circle.
Four books, two authors, one purpose: to help new writers find their voice and experienced writers improve the quality of everything they write.
Exciting News
I have been recruited by Wondrium (formerly The Teaching Company) to record one of their Great Courses on the topic “Lewis, Tolkien, and the Inklings.”
The pilot will be available to members in December 2023; the rest of the series is in development. Stay tuned!

And one day, I’ll return to Undaunted by Dante: An Uncomplicated Guide to Reading and Enjoying The Divine Comedy.
I hope that before long I’ll be blogging or podcasting some sample chapters of that labor of love.
